#### Recording and making audio is great, but sharing is even better, especially when you can't be there in person.

Grandparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, siblings, everyone, can make recordings and share them, so they can be linked to cards for the kids.

Note: you are not allowed to share copyrighted content. If you create your own, totally original content, and you are happy to share with families, friends or the community, then please do.

**Option 1 - Share your audio as an MP3**

Use this option if you want to share audio with more than one other family member (say, lots of grandchildren or nieces and nephews), but you'd rather not have to log in to the app using their details.

1. Record your audio using any voice recording app on your phone. Make sure you record in MP3 format.
2. Share that audio MP3 file by whatever means you like: WhatsApp, email, USB stick…
3. The person you share with can then turn that audio MP3 file into a playlist on Yoto, and link that to a physical card

**Option 2 - Join the Family Account**

Use this option if you are only sharing audio with one other family member, and they are happy to have you join their Family Account.

1. Download the Yoto app
2. Log in to the app with your own email and password
3. In the app’s Menu, tap Join a Family Account and follow the instructions to pair with a player and join the Family Account.

You will need your family member to press some buttons on the player, so they will need to be on the phone and near the player while you do this.

As a member of the Family Account, all your story playlists will be visible on the app of your family member, and they can link them to cards at their end.

**Option 3 - Sign in as the person who owns the Yoto Player**

Use this option if you want to share audio with multiple family members, all of whom don't mind you logging into their app!

1. Download the Yoto app
2. Log in using the email and password of the person who owns the Yoto Player (please ask permission for this!)
3. You can rhen record stories directly into the app and turn these into Yoto playlists.
4. These story playlists will then be visible in their app, and they can link them to cards using the same instructions as the link in step 3.
