# How to use the sleep timer on your Yoto

#### The Sleep Timer feature is perfect for bedtimes, but it can be useful for other situations too!

  

To set your player to stop playing after a set time, simply follow these simple steps: 

1) Tap the “now playing” bar at the base of the screen to open the Maxi Player view.

2) Tap the ‘moon and stars’ icon at the top of the screen.

3) Set your time.

4) Once the timer has elapsed, your player will stop playing.

Don’t worry if you’ve changed cards or played something different while the timer is running, it will keep running until it runs out, or until you set it to 'off'.

To set your sleep timer off, simply tap the moon and stars icon again and select ‘off’.
