My Yoto Player has frozen/is unresponsive -how do I fix it?

What to do if your Player has completely frozen/locked up

Very rarely your Player may get in a bit of a panic and freeze. Here's what to do if that happens:

  • Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the Player restarts (this is a hard reset - don't worry it won't delete any content or Wi-Fi details)
  • Wait a few moments
  • The Player should now recover and re-connect to Wi-Fi 
  • In case the reset did not work, leave the Player off the charging dock until the battery drains (may take up to 24 hours)
  • Once the battery is drained, put the Player back to charge on the dock. It should now recover and re-connect to the Wi-Fi (or stay offline if you are not within Wi-Fi range)
