Setting an AlarmUpdated 6 months ago

To get started, you'll need to have the 2.46 version of the app or above and player OS 2.10.7 or above.

Create an Alarm

Our alarms are perfect for wake-up time, time to go to school, bedtime, but they can be useful for other situations too!

To set an alarm, simply follow these steps:

1) Open the Yoto App

2) Go to the Players tab

3) Go to the player settings of the player where you want to play alarms from. Make sure your player is switched on and connected to the internet.

4) In your chosen player settings, go to Alarms > Set an alarm

5) Go to Add an alarm

6) Select your alarm time

Tap the time

Scroll to your preferred alarm time

7) Select which days you want this alarm to be active for.

The default setting is for every day to be selected, if you want your alarm to go off on specific days, tap the ones that don't apply.

Selected days will show in red and are listed in text underneath

If you wanted your alarm to only be active Mon-Fri, this is what it would look like

8) Choose a sound for your alarm

Select from our 7 alarm sounds, tap on each sound to have a 3-second preview on your phone.

9) Select your alarm volume

You can do this by using the +/- buttons or our volume slider

Please note, the alarm volume will not exceed your day or night settings. For example, if you set the alarm volume to 16, but your maximum day volume is 10, the alarm will play at a volume of 10.

10) Want to know what the alarm sounds like on your player? Use the preview on player button and the alarm will play for 10 seconds.

If you want to change any of the settings you have selected, just go back and make adjustments

11) Once you are happy with your alarm, click Save alarm

12) Press cancel to stop the alarm from being saved.

13) The saved alarm is now visible in the alarms settings.

You can have a maximum of 10 alarms per player.
