Refer a Friend Program 

Sharing Yoto with friends is a simple way to spread the joy of audio, and earn a little reward for yourself along the way! 

What’s new

Our updated Refer a Friend program is live, more rewarding than ever, offering: 

• A discount for your friend on their first Yoto Player or Yoto Mini purchase

• A Reward Voucher for you after your friend’s order ships

Discount and Reward values 

Referral values vary by region and the Yoto store you shop from. They are shown clearly at the time of redemption.

How it works

1. Share your referral link 

• Look out for a Refer a Friend button or link. You might find it:

• On yotoplay.com (in the website footer or after checkout on the thank you page)

• In your account dashboard (My Account → Refer a Friend)

• In the Yoto app (Library tab → tap the gift icon in the top-right corner)

• In emails from us, such as order confirmations or newsletters
  
  
  

• Enter your email to get your unique referral link 

  • You don’t need a Yoto account to refer a friend, just an email address!

  • Once you enter your email, your unique referral link will be generated.

  • ⚠️ Your rewards will be linked to that email address, so make sure it’s one you’ll continue to use. 

• Share your link

  • Copy your referral link and share it with friends, family, or colleagues, anyone you know who’d love Yoto.

  • ⚠️ Referral links are for personal sharing only. They shouldn’t be posted publicly (for example on social media, forums, deal or coupon websites, or shared in bulk). Publicly shared links may be disabled, and rewards may not be issued.

    2. Your friend unlocks their discount 

• Your friend clicks your referral link and enters their email address 
  • This will generate a referral discount code.

• The referral discount applies when the order includes a Yoto Player or a Yoto Mini

  • Cards and accessories can be added to the same order, but the discount requires a Player or Mini to be in the basket.

• The discount code will: 
  • appear automatically at checkout, 
  • or your friend can copy and paste the code manually once it’s generated. 
  • They will receive it via email as well. 
  • ⚠️ Your friend must use the same email address at checkout as the one they entered when generating the referral code. If a different email is used, the discount won’t apply and the referral can’t be tracked.
    

    3. Your Reward Voucher is issued 

• Once your friend’s order ships, your reward voucher will be sent by email within 7 days.
• You can use your reward voucher on most items in the Yoto store, including Players, cards, accessories, and so much more!
• However, reward vouchers cannot be used on:

  • Yoto Club subscriptions

  • Orders using Club Credits

• Your voucher will be valid for 6 months. 

A few handy details 

• Each friend can only be referred once.

• As a Referrer, you can earn rewards for up to 20 successful referrals per calendar year.

• Friend referral discount applies only to the purchase of a Yoto Player or a Yoto Mini. 

• Referral links are for personal sharing only and shouldn’t be posted publicly.

• Here's how referral rewards interact with Yoto Club benefits: 

  • ✅ Referral reward vouchers (for you, the Referrer) can be combined with the Yoto Club 10% member discount
    

  • ❌ Referral reward vouchers (for you, the Referrer)  can’t be used on orders that include Yoto Club Credits, even if credits are only used for part of the order

  • ❌ Friend referral discounts (for the person you refer) don’t combine with Yoto Club benefits, including: Yoto Club 10% member discount and the usage of Yoto
    
    

Referral Booster: Limited-time reward boost 🎉

We’re giving our Refer a Friend programme a little extra sparkle!

A Referral Booster is live across all regions from 6 February (8:30am GMT) until 18 February. During this time, the referrer reward is boosted, meaning you’ll earn a bigger thank-you when a friend successfully uses your referral link.

What’s boosted?

• ✅ Referrer reward only (the person sharing the link)

• ❌ Your friend’s discount stays the same

Important things to know

• The booster is live since 6 February at 8:30am GMT

• No retroactive rewards apply
  If you referred a friend before the booster started and already received the standard reward, it can’t be increased

• You can still earn the boosted reward by referring new friends who are new to the referral programme

Points & Tokens Update

Our previous points/tokens loyalty scheme has now been officially retired.

However, if you still have pending points or tokens from the earlier program, you can continue to redeem them at checkout until August 2026.
