How much content can be stored on the Player / Mini for offline playback?Updated 6 days ago

Storage information for Yoto Player and Yoto Mini.

Both the Yoto Player (3rd Generation) and Yoto Mini currently sold come with 32 GB of built-in storage, which holds around 700 hours* of audio.

Some older models of Yoto Minis come with 16 GB of storage.

To identify your Mini model, look for a 14-digit serial number, found on the bottom side of the Mini. If your Mini has a serial number that:

  • Starts with 6 or higher number

  • Starts with AFE, BFE, CFE, and so on through the alphabet

  • Starts with AVC, BVC, CVC, and so on through the alphabet

  • Or ends with -H, -H7, or -U (regardless of how it starts)

Then, your Yoto Mini has 32 GB of built-in storage.

Yoto Minis with a serial number starting with 5 or lower come with 16 GB of storage, which is equivalent to about 350 hours* of audio.

The Yoto Player (2nd Generation) also comes with 16 GB of built-in storage.

Full storage? No worries!

If the internal storage of your Yoto player is full, content that has not been played for a long time will be automatically replaced by new or more popular content.

This will not affect what is available in your Yoto App library, and you will be able to store the replaced content again by simply playing it while your Yoto player is online.

*estimations based on spoken word content like Roald Dahl or Julia Donaldson stories. Music uses more storage capacity, so would reduce the amount of hours of audio that can be stored.
