How to access cards in the Yoto App instantly after purchaseUpdated 10 days ago
Play any Yoto card that you buy from the Yoto store, before it arrives in the post!
Instant Play gives Yoto customers instant access to Yoto Cards that they purchase via the Yoto website. We use your email to match your Yoto store account with your Yoto app account, so for it to work, you should use the same address for both.
How does it work?
Buy cards from the Yoto Card Store
Open the Yoto app and go to Library > My Cards
Your newly purchased cards will be there and available for play on your players, as well as directly on your phone!
I've purchased a card but can't see it in the Yoto app
Please try the following:
- Make sure that you already have a Yoto account before you place the order*
- Check that you are using the same email address for the Yoto store and the Yoto app
Check you are logged in to the Yoto app
Try refreshing the page - go to a different area of the app and then come back to your Library
If you are still having issues, contact us with your order number, the email address that you used and the Registration Code (you can find this in the Yoto App, Settings page) of your player, so that we can look into this for you.
*if you create the Yoto account after placing the order, just get in touch with us, and we can add the card manually.
I've purchased a card for someone else
If you meant to give the Yoto Card as a gift, don't worry! As soon as the recipient uses the card, the ownership will be transferred to them. This happens automatically - click here to learn more about Yoto Cards' ownership.
If you purchased a Digital Yoto Card, we will need to transfer it to the recipient for you. Please get in touch with us with your order number and the Yoto account email of the recipient.
