How to reset your PlayerUpdated a month ago
If your player has become unresponsive or is behaving erratically, you may need to reset it
Most common issues can be resolved by turning your player off and on again
- Turn off your player: hold down the power button for 3 seconds
(bottom right-hand corner of the Yoto Player or right-hand side of Yoto Mini) - Turn it back on
- Repeat the process until the Yoto face icon appears
If the Player fails to turn off, you can perform a hard reset.
To perform a hard reset:
- Hold down the power button for at least 10 seconds and until the player restarts
- The player should now be back to normal.
Note: Performing a hard reset cuts the power to the Yoto brain and helps it recover. You won't lose any content or Wi-Fi connection
In very rare and exceptional circumstances, if none of the above works, you can try letting the player’s battery run out by leaving it without charging until the player powers down. Once it is off, you can now recharge, and it should be back to normal.
