Not sure which Yoto Player or Yoto Mini you have? Use the guide below to help you identify your model.
Yoto Player models
Yoto Player (2nd Generation)
Power button: Bottom right corner.
Charging: Uses a charging dock (cannot be charged any other way).
Serial Numbers: If you own a 2nd Generation Yoto Player, you'll find 'P2' somewhere near the middle of the Serial Number which is printed on the bottom of the Player.
Yoto Player (3rd Generation)
Power button: Right side of the Player, near the middle.
Charging: Uses a USB-C charging port (charging dock sold separately).
Serial Number: If you own a 3rd Generation Yoto Player, you'll find 'P3' somewhere near the middle of the Serial Number which printed on the bottom of the Player.
Yoto Mini models
Yoto Mini (2021–2023 Edition)
Identical to the Yoto Mini 2024 - 2025 Edition.
Serial Number: Typically start with 1FE–8FE
If the Serial Number ends with -H, -H7, or -U, it is not this edition
Charging: Uses a USB-C charging port.

Yoto Mini (2024–2025 Edition)
Identical to the Yoto Mini 2021–2023 Edition.
Serial Number: 14-digit codes that either:
Start with 9FE, or
Start with AFE, BFE, CFE… (continuing down the alphabet), or
Start with AVC, BVC, CVC… (continuing down the alphabet), or
End with -H, -H7, or -U (regardless of how it starts)
Charging: Uses a USB-C charging port.
Tip: If you’re unsure whether you have a Yoto Mini (2021–2023) or Yoto Mini (2024–2025), check the Serial Number! It’s the easiest way to tell them apart.
