No, you don’t have to pay any shipping costs for your first free Yoto Mini Smart Cable. One Yoto Mini Smart Cable will be shipped free of charge for each Yoto Mini. If you buy additional Smart Cables, normal shipping charges apply.
I have more than one Yoto Mini. Can I get more than one Yoto Mini Smart Cable?
Yes, you can register to receive one Yoto Mini Smart Cable for each Yoto Mini that you own. Please register each Yoto Mini separately using the serial number found on the bottom of your Yoto Mini. You can also buy additional Smart Cables here.

What if I sold or gifted my Yoto Mini?
We will contact all registered users, but if you sold or are the gift giver and not the user, please notify the recipient of the need to only use a Yoto Mini Smart Cable. One Yoto Mini Smart Cable will be provided free of charge per Yoto Mini registered. Registered users need to insert the serial number found on the bottom of their Yoto Mini on this web page. A Yoto Mini Smart Cable will then be dispatched.
How long will it take for the Yoto Mini Smart Cable to arrive?
The free Yoto Mini Smart Cables will be shipped free of charge, using a tracked courier service, arriving between 2-8 working days from shipping. You will get confirmation emails both when you order, and also when your order ships, along with a tracking number and tracking link. Additional Smart Cables purchased in our store will have normal shipping charges and times.

How do I claim my voucher which has been offered?
You will receive a follow-up email four weeks after your Yoto Mini Smart Cable has been shipped, with your unique voucher code to spend on any item on the Yoto website. We apologize that we are unable to send these sooner. This will be a manual rather than automated process, plus we want to ensure our warehouses prioritize Yoto Mini Smart Cable shipments in the first instance.
How much is the voucher worth?
We are offering a USD$20 / CA$30 / £15 / €15 voucher, per Yoto Mini, which can be redeemed against any product on the Yoto website.
How do I use my voucher?
The voucher can be redeemed against any product on the Yoto website, including hardware. You will be able to insert your voucher code at checkout on our online store. You can stack them against multiple products and against shipping fees - much like a gift card. The voucher will be valid for 6 months from the day you receive it, and you can use your voucher on multiple purchases until you've used the entire amount.
How many vouchers will I get?
You will receive one email with a total voucher amount that reflects how many Smart Cables you ordered. For example, if your household has ordered two Smart Cables, you will receive an email with a voucher totaling USD$40 / CA$60 / £30 / €30.

Is the Yoto Player affected by this issue?
This only affects owners of Yoto Mini manufactured between 2021 and 2023. No other Yoto products are affected, as this type of battery is only used in the Yoto Mini. Yoto Mini (2024 edition) uses a new battery from a different supplier, so is also unaffected.
Can I use this Yoto Mini Smart Cable with my Yoto Player (3rd Generation)?
No, we recommend that the Yoto Mini Smart Cable is used only with your Yoto Mini sold between 2021-2023.
Do I need to do anything with my Yoto Player?
Yoto Players and Yoto Mini (2024 edition) are not affected by this issue, and you should continue to use them as normal.

Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) have serial numbers starting with 9FE and higher. You can find the 14 digit serial number on the base of the unit.
What’s changed in Yoto Mini (2024 Edition)?
Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) has a new, improved battery from a different supplier than Yoto Minis manufactured between 2021 and 2023. Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) has 32Gb of memory storage for around 500 hours of audio.
Does Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) have a Yoto Mini Smart Cable included?
No. Yoto Mini (2024 Edition) is not subject to the safety update of April 2024, and does not need the Yoto Mini Smart Cable to charge.
