Issues with your 3rd-Generation Yoto Player's charging dock
We recommend trying the following checks, if you have not already:
1. Power Source: ensure that the wireless charging dock is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Verify that the power adapter and cable are functioning correctly by using them to charge another player, or compatible phone, if possible.
2. Correct Placement: make sure the Yoto Player is correctly aligned on the wireless charging dock. The charging coils in the Yoto Player and the dock must be aligned for efficient power transfer. Try adjusting the position of the Yoto Player on the dock slightly to ensure optimal contact.
3. Inspect for Obstructions: remove any objects or debris between the Yoto Player and the charging dock. Even the tiniest thing can interfere with the charging process. Ensure there are no magnetic or metallic objects attached to the back of the Yoto Player that could disrupt charging.
4. Restart the Yoto Player: turn off the Yoto Player, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Place it back on the wireless charging dock to see if the issue is resolved.
5. Firmware Update: check the Settings of your Player in the Yoto App to ensure your Yoto Player has the latest firmware update installed. Firmware updates can resolve bugs and improve charging efficiency.
If you are still running into any problems with your charging dock, please feel free to reach out to us and we will be happy to help as we can.
